What we’re
looking for

We’re looking for talks from everyone building, using and thinking about the Atmosphere, the open network of apps and services built on AT Protocol.

Developers, yes, but far from only developers. We want to hear from researchers, artists, journalists, community builders, policy people and anyone (interested in) running something real on atproto. First-time speakers are very welcome.

Four themes to choose from

  • Build

Apps, infra, protocol, tooling. How they work, and how they break.

  • Create

Art, games, fandom, and culture, made and connected in the open.

  • Inform

Journalism, publishing, and the fight for reliable, trustworthy information.

  • Govern

Moderation, safety, policy, and the rules that shape and protect our spaces.

Two formats, choose what fits your story best.

  • Talk

    25 minutes

25 minutes including Q&A. A standard session for deeper stories, demos and discussion.

  • Lightning talk

    10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A

Short, sharp and recorded in a smaller room. Great for new ideas, quick demos and concise updates.

  • Workshop

    90 mins

Hands-on session for deeper knowledge sharing.

Still not sure?

  • Ask yourself who should be in the room for your talk

Developers (Build), makers and their fans (Create), people who publish (Inform), or people who set and enforce the rules (Govern). Pick that one. We move proposals between themes when it helps, so you can’t pick wrong.

  • The best proposals are specific

What you built, studied or ran, what you learned (including what didn’t work), and what people can take home from your session. Sales pitches won’t make it through review.

How we select

We run the CFP in two rounds

Most slots are filled in round 1, and we keep room in round 2 for new topics and things that come up early next year.

Round 1: 15 Oct — 30 Nov 2026
You’ll hear from us by 18 December.
Round 2: 11 Jan — 14 Feb 2027
You’ll hear from us by 5 March. Round 2 has fewer slots.

Proposals from round 1 that we like but can’t place yet are automatically considered again in round 2.

Track leads review with the content team

Track leads from the community review proposals together with the content team. We look for a mix of topics, perspectives and places, and we read every proposal.
